Prerare a DVD disc you need to convert to other video format. Insert it into the DVD drive of your PC. Keep in mind that Freemake DVD Converter doesn't support & open CDs. In the video converter find the '+DVD' button at the top row and click it. Select your DVD drive with the disc, and then a VIDEO_TS folder. You may find this folder in your disc C in 'My Videos'. Choose the biggest VOB (.vob) file from the list for ripping. In case your DVD disc contains several movies, and you want to extract all the disc files as MP4s, select all VOB videos from the DVD folder.
For DVD movies that come with multiple audio and subtitles tracks, select one track as an audio and one track for subtitles. These features are available in the main window of the program.
Please note that only one voice audio track and only one subtitle track are accepted by Freemake DVD to MP4 Converter. You can preview the video before converting DVD to MP4 in Freemake video editor to check you made everything correctly. You might also embed free subtitles downloaded from the Internet (SRT, ASS, SSA file formats) into your movie before converting DVD video files to AVI, DVD to MP4 or other popular output formats.
